Strategic Partnership Council (SPC) The goal of the Strategic Partnership Council is to build on the unique bond and mutually beneficial partnerships that exist between meeting planners and speakers. By building on these special relationships, and creating new local and national partnerships, the SPC is working to enhance the NSA brand as true professional partners within the meetings industry. Each year, our local chapter, along with many other local NSA Chapters across the U.S., recognizes meeting organizers working with our members by recognizing a Chapter Meeting Partner of the Year. We designate a meeting at which we dedicate a time to recognize the partnership between the award-winning planner and the chapter. To view our local chapter's list of award-winning Meeting Partners of the Year, click here On a national and international level, the SPC has reached out to various meetings industry association partners including Meeting Professionals International and the Professional Convention Management Association These associations - two of the most prestigious and influential meetings industry partners - have agreed to partner with NSA. NSA speakers now have the opportunity to showcase their talents, and our entire membership benefits by this professional representation. NSA also benefits through multiple branding opportunities to the MPI and PCMA audiences, including Web links, advertising, signage at meetings and in programs, feature articles, etc. We are in contact with other national and international meetings associations, too, to continue our branding efforts and to help every association recognize the value of the NSA professional. The SPC is also partnering with speaker bureau colleagues. The NSA/IASB International Association of Speakers Bureaus partnership helps us each to understand what we bring to the table, and how we can all do a better job for each other, and for our clients. Finally, the SPC continues the wonderful tradition of selecting a very special meeting partner on a national level.
